Much of the work done by Children's Hospital and Health
System would not be possible without generous donations from individuals,
corporations and foundations. Children’s Hospital and Health System Foundation
secures philanthropic support for the entire health system, in part through
community events such as Briggs & Al's Run & Walk for Children’s
Hospital and the Dave & Carole Miracle Marathon on WKLH 96.5. Most
contributions come from individuals and families grateful for the care or
support they or a loved one received. Dollars raised provide financial backing
for patient care programs, professional and community education, advocacy for
the health and safety of children and pediatric research.
Children's Hospital Foundation has a need for a Donor
Research Specialist. The Donor Research Specialist identifies and profiles
individual, corporate, and foundation donors, and researches prospects for
major gifts, endowed gifts, special project funding, and annual/sustaining
support. The Donor Research Specialist
provides written reports about specific donors and prospects, containing
analysis of information gathered from public sources. Strategizes with
development staff regarding prospect identification, and collaborates to
develop donor prospect reports appropriate to departmental needs.
